888 horses! Tuned Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk 'Hellhound' boasts supercar performance

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk is one of the most powerful SUVs out there. It has a supercharged 6.2-litre V8 that makes 707 horsepower but several aftermarket tuners have had a go at increasing that output - and the latest is O.CT Tuning which has upped power to 888 horses!

The Austrian company is offering a new take on the high-performance SUV with two tuning packages for the Trackhawk with the most potent boosting output to 888 horses and aptly, O.CT Tuning calls its version the ‘Hellhound’.

It has 181 more horses than the standard Trackhawk thanks to a simple reprogramming of the ECU. This has had a huge effect on the SUV's performance; With 707 horses, the standard Jeep Trackhawk will go from 0-100kph in just 3.5 seconds but O.CT Tuning's version does it in 3 seconds flat.

It is just 0.1 seconds slower off the line than a Lamborghini Aventador S or a Ferrari F8 Tributo.

The tuner also has a less potent stage 1 kit which has 819 horses - and it can boost the output of the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 from 475 horsepower to 564 by installing a supercharger kit.
