COVID-19 and golf: Trophee Hassan II in Morocco cancelled

The European Tour has confirmed that the Trophee Hassan II in Morocco, scheduled to take place from October 21-24, has been cancelled due to ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The decision has been taken following consultation with Association du Trophee Hassan II Organising Committee, led by Prince Moulay Rachid, Royal Golf Dar Es Salam and the Ladies European Tour, with their simultaneous event, the Lalla Meryem Cup, also cancelled.

The European Tour will look to schedule a replacement tournament in the vacated week, but there are no definitive plans as to where that will be at this stage.
