Yas Acres Golf and Country Club in Abu Dhabi opens its doors

Meet the latest addition to the UAE’s growing golf course portfolio

Yas Acres Golf & Country Club (YAGCC)is open for business and was officially inaugurated at a ceremonial launch by Sheikh Fahim Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Emirates Golf Federation, Hamda Al Suwaidi, UAE Women’s National Team Member, Ali Saif Bin Summaida, UAE Special Olympics Team Member, and rising junior golfing star Maya Gaudin - alongside UAE golf industry and Abu Dhabi officials.

The nine-hole floodlit golf facility, located at the centre of the Yas Acres residential community, will also provide a community social hub and is designed by Fry/Straka Global Golf Course Design.

The golf course measures 3,700 yards from the back tees, and plays to a par 36 with a total land area of 130 acres, with tee decks available to suit golfers of all standards, including an impressive driving range facility.

The clubhouse offers a feature restaurant, Roots Bar & Kitchen, and the club will also open two more F&B outlets at the beginning of 2022.

Yas Acres promises to offer accessible golf facilities and a golf lesson facility, padel tennis courts, a gym and a swimming pool.
