The Tristar Gladiators won the latest edition of the Ultimate Golf Challenge Series at Dubai Creek Golf and Yacht Club after shooting an impressive team score of 150 Stableford points.

The runners-up were Team Moore Aces on the same score with the Dugasta Titans in third place just a point behind.

Ten teams, each consisting of 14 players in the squad played in a Betterball Stableford format with 75% handicap allowance.

The team score was calculated with the best four Betterball scores out of the five pairs counting. Players in each team played either 18 or nine holes in the shotgun start event.

Owner of Tristar Gladiators, Mukesh Kochhar, said: “We basically kept the same team as in the first Ultimate Golf Challenge event in January – that was important for us all in our team. The ladies were particularly outstanding today in the team. We look forward to being part of future Ultimate Golf Challenge events moving forward. We are proud champions of this tournament and well done to all my team. A special thanks to my mentor and also one of my key team members Devanand Kurup.”

“We have had an excellent day of golf – a very exciting finish with a genuine buzz around the entire day of competitive and social golf. Congratulations to all the winners,” said Brandon De Souza, Tournament Director and Organizer of the Ultimate Team Golf Challenge.
