Tommy Fleetwood is heading to Rome for Team Europe
The Dubai resident has claimed one of six Captains Pick for the Ryder Cup in Italy
Dubai resident Tommy Fleetwood has been selected in the final line up for Team Europe in the 2023 Ryder Cup.
A six-time winner on the DP World Tour including two times in the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship, Fleetwood will be making his third appearance in the team event which takes place at Marco Simone Golf & Country Club, Rome, from September 29 – October 1.
The 2017 Race to Dubai Champion has a Ryder Cup debut to remember in 2018 when he won four points out of at Le Golf National five years ago which Team Europe went onto defeat Team USA.
European Captain Luke Donald said: “We have great depth of talent in Europe, and that is perfectly illustrated with the team we now have confirmed for Rome, which is a strong blend of players with previous Ryder Cup experience combined with exciting and talented rookies.
“I’m really pleased to have this team now in place, and we are all looking forward to going to Rome later this month and trying to win back the Ryder Cup.”
