Martensson and Dickinson takeaway at 'Thursday Curry Club'

Four birdies in a row from holes 15 to 18 for the winning pair over the Fire course at JGE

The pair of Peter Martensson and Daniel Dickinson were able to takaway top spot in the 'Thursday Curry Club' at Jumeirah Golf Estates with a score of Net 30 (-6).

Peter and Daniel fired a 6 under Gross, managing to score four birdies in a row from holes 15 to 18 over the back nine of the Fire Course in the pairs scamble event.

Second place went to the experienced pair of JGE Club Manager Stephen Hubner and Club Champion David Bainbridge. The duo had five Gross birdies scoring a net 32 (-4).

Losing out on countback and finishing in third was JGE Golf Experience Manager Kieran Blackshaw and his playing partner Alex Whayman.

On the course competitions:

Nearest the Pin - Hole 14 - Noel O’Leary
Longest Drive - Hole 18 - Guillaume Adam

Concluding the prize-giving presentation, Adam Stastny, Assistant Golf Services Manager at Jumeirah Golf Estates, thanked everyone for participating. “Congratulations to all our prize winners. I would like to thank you all for your continued support of Thursday Curry Club and to Kasturi for providing a great dinner. I hope to see you all this weekend for the Dubai Golf OMA Emirates Medal hosted over the Fire Course.”
