Mark McNeilly's day at the Ras Al Khaimah Seniors Open

Total gross score of 78 at Al Hamra Golf Club gave him the title

Mark McNeilly is making a habit of lifting trophies recently.

McNeilly just a few weeks claimed the Gross Division of the Sharjah Golf and Shooting Clubs 10th Senior Open, and now he has another trophy to add to his collection, the Ras Al Khaimah Seniors Open.

15 competitors took part in the tournament at Al Hamra Golf Club last weekend.

Playing off the white tees with a yardage of 6703 yards, McNeilly who plays off scratch, went out in 39 four bogeys and one birdie. Only to match his inward nine again with a three over par 39, totalling in a 78.

McNeilly won by a commanding 8 shots from his nearest competitors which was Ghassan Al Saleh and George Fitchet, both with 87's.

In the Net Division, Pier Luigi Ferrari was in pole poition on the leaderboard with a 72, matched by Ghassan Al Saleh. Ferrari the winner on countback.
