KEGS and Sharjah Golf Society through to final
Fourball better ball matchplay in the Bandenia Golf Society League semi-finals at SGSC
The Semi Finals of the Bandenia Golf Society League took place on Saturday the 13th of May. The four remaining societies battled it out in a fourball better ball matchplay format to see which two societies would remain for the final.
The Filipino Golfers in The Middle East (FIGME) was up first and they KEGS Golf Society, both societies produced some great golf on the day and over eighteen holes they could not be separate as both societies won a match each. It went to a sudden death play off where KEGS held their nerve and claimed the win to reach the final.
The Nepalese Golf Society who have been playing great all the way through the event came up against a very tough opponent in the form of Sharjah Golf Society. Sharjah Golf Society produced some of the best golf on the day and won both matches to move into the final.
The final will be will be hosted at SGSC on Saturday the 20th of May.
