Full field for OMEGA Dubai Creek Men’s Amateur Open

111 players are in the field with 18 holes being played on both Saturday and Sunday

The first round of the 36 hole 2023 OMEGA Dubai Creek Men’s Amateur Open will be held tomorrow (Saturday) at Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club.

The first tee time is at 6.50 am with Adrian Larsson (The Els Club) hitting the first ball with all players teeing off from the first tee.

The final tee time of the day is at 12.50 pm.

111 players are in the field with 18 holes being played on both Saturday and Sunday.

The event is the first open event of 2023 and is part of the Emirates Golf Federation 2022 – 2023 Order of Merit.

A strong local UAE entry is playing in the event, including: Tom Nesbitt (+4.3, ADGC), Jay Mullane (+4.7, EGC), Dan Byrne (+4.5, The Els Club), Sam Mullane (+5.5, EGC), Tariq El Chaib (+3.9, ADGC), Victor Kofod-Olsen (+2.3, EGC), Benoit Ardon (+3.1, EGC), Peter Whittaker (+3.3, AESGC), Jake Wiltshire (+4.8, Abu Dhabi City GC), Max Cashmore (+3.4, JGE), Dominic Morton (+3.3, Trump Int) and Dan Kirkwood (+2.5, Yas Links, Abu Dhabi), as well as notables, Amrit Singh, Nathan Seldon, Shezad and Bayhaan Lakdawala, Mike Mirza, John Fellingham and Max Burrow from the home club. 38 players in the field boast a plus handicap.

On the international front, entries have been received from England, Ireland, Wales, Saudi Arabia, Germany and India.

Play will be from an approximate 6,849 yardage from the Blue Tee course at Dubai Creek.
