Emirates Golf Club qualify for the Ladies’ Inter Club Challenge Finals
Two further Ladies’ Inter Club Challenge (ICC) matches have taken place in recent weeks.
EGC won their League 3 fixture at Abu Dhabi City Golf Club with 266 points against 237 points from the host club and, with Sharjah & Northern Emirates withdrawing from the ICC, EGC now progresses to the finals.
In League 1, the Emirates Golf Federation (EGF) team won their second-round fixture, with a score of 255 points, Jumeirah Golf Estates were second with 253 points and Saadiyat third with 236 points.
All is to play for in the final fixture in League 1 in early March with the qualifying spot to be decided between JGW and EGF.
The format for the Ladies’ ICC is the best eight individual Stableford scores 10 players in each team. The handicap allowance is 95% per cent of the course index.
The winning team of each fixture receives three points, the runners-up two and one for third.
The remaining fixtures are on March 9 at Emirates Golf Club and Yas Links, with the final on March 22.
