Sharjah snaps: An interplay of light and dazzling colour

A journey through light shows, culture displays and desert sunsets

Ethiopian expat Hiwot Haileselassie Tesfaye presents a collection of snaps from Sharjah. A journey through light shows, culture displays and desert sunsets.

This photograph was taken at the Sharjah Heritage Village in 2023. While visiting the museums and heritage area with my children, I witnessed this fleeting beautiful scene and captured the vibrant sunset casting an array of hues across the village walls.

This picture was taken during the Sharjah Light Festival 2024 in Al Hamriyah New General Souq. I took this during a photowalk preparing for a competition by Fotouae and Sharjah tourism. Fortunately I was one of the winner of this computation.
