Apart from his coveted bridalwear, Malhotra is known for his work as a costume designer for top stars in Bollywood movies such as ‘Mohabbatein’, ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’, ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Happy New Year’. He has even won the IIFA Award for best costume multiple times. In an interview with Gulf News in 2017, Malhotra talked about his legacy in Bollywood. "These are 27 years of successful films, big actors and lots of firsts in terms of style, design and narrative. And till date, I continue to do this. I was once designing for Sridevi and now I am designing for her daughter [Jhanvi Kapoor] for her first film, who is all of 19," he said. Image Credit: IANS
