Featuring a sunken city with a stunning streetscape, an apartment, garage and arcade, besides freediving and scuba diving courses, the place offers a range of experiences. A must visit for diving enthusiasts, this facility is certainly among the city’s most unique attractions. Meanwhile, the Taliban have never been stronger since their regime was toppled by the US invasion in 2003. The hapless Afghan government is seeing one defeat after another in its battle with the Taliban. In one particularly embarrassing incident, more than 1,000 Afghan troops ran away to Tajikistan to escape a Taliban assault. So why is President Joe Biden allowing this to happen? The reasons are to be found in America, not Afghanistan. The American people are fed up of the ‘forever war’. They couldn’t care less about the fate of Afghanistan, it seems. Talking to Gulf News, she has praised the efforts of doctors and health care workers and mourned those who’ve been lost to the virus. The pandemic has indeed taught us important lessons about what matter most in life and the value of those who serve others. Without those people, the world would be a much harsher place. Let us not forget these lessons when things return to normal. Gareth Southgate's side have now gone one step further than any England team since 1966 - that was when they won the World Cup against West Germany. The current crop had to come from behind against the brave Danes to eventually win 2-1. Denmark have had an emotional rollercoaster of a tournament what with losing Christian Eriksen in their first game to a cardiac arrest but they regrouped and went on to become everyone's second favourite team with some brilliant displays. They will feel disappointed to bow out following a dodgy penalty that was awarded to England but the Three Lions did enough to warrant their place in the final on Sunday against Italy. Now after decades of pain and misery, they have the chance to win a major title and here's hoping that they finally do. (COMMENT BY: Imran Malik, Assistant Editor) Image Credit: Reuters
