On the outer crescent, the five-star Atlantis, The Palm resort is a popular visit. The arch of the hotel is featured in many visitors' Instagram feeds. The opulent resort features world-class restaurants of chefs including Nobu, Giorgio Locatelli, and Gordon Ramsay, as well as a waterpark, a gigantic aquarium, and other attractions.

The pristine beaches

It's impossible to discuss Palm Jumeirah without discussing its beaches. The outstanding beachside living that this man-made wonder offers is one of the key highlights of the apartments here. The villas on the fronds each have their own private beach.

Charter a luxurious yacht and sail along the coastline, or spice things up with a speedboat ride and wakeboarding excursions. The waters are calmer between the island's 'fronds' and along the trunk, making it a popular spot for kayaking and paddle boarding.

The Pointe

The Pointe, the world largest fountain occupies the space at the top of the man-made trunk of Dubai's Palm Jumeirah, directly across from the Atlantis. It's shaped like a gentle W and hugs the coast, with a large dancing water fountain in the center which features choreographed dancing water shows every night of the week. The attraction is free to enter and usually has events going on. There's something for everyone at The Pointe, from burgers to seafood markets, fine Chinese restaurants to Italian eateries, so whatever you're craving, there's a restaurant for you.

The View

A new observation platform on top of the The Palm Tower is poised to become the tallest viewing platform on Palm Jumeirah, with unimpeded 360-degree views. The Next Level is an expansion of The View at The Palm, located on the 54th level – 250 meters above ground – and offers a private viewing place with barrier-free panoramic views of the Palm Jumeirah below and Dubai's skyline.
