Dubai: Has your vehicle been impounded for more than six months in Sharjah? You have until November 10 to get it released.

In a public notice issued by Sharjah Municipality, vehicle owners have been asked to release their cars from the impound yard by completing the necessary procedures to get them cleared. If the vehicle has been impounded for over six months, vehicle owners have been given four days to complete the necessary procedures. The notice was issued on November 7 and the deadline ends on November 10, as per the announcement.

The notice was for impounded cars as well as motorcycles, bicycles and machinery. The authority provided a list of these impounded items on its website - https://shjmun.gov.ae/a/vehiclesForMove/vehiclesForMove_nov10.pdf

Impounded cars will be auctioned

If vehicle owners fail to complete the procedures, the authority will begin selling them through a public auction after the four-day period ends on November 10, 2021.
