Global Village opens October 26: Tickets, location and new attractions

Dubai: As the latest season of Global Village opens on October 26, there will be 26 pavilions displaying authentic products from more than 80 different cultures, including a new Iraq pavilion. If you are looking forward to the upcoming season, here is all you need to know about the details announced so far.

When does the new season start?

You will be able to visit Global Village from 4pm on October 26, 2021.

The season is scheduled to run until April 10, 2022.

What is the ticket cost?

The tickets can be purchased at the venue, or you can buy them online for a 25 per cent discount.

Dh20 per person – at the gate

Dh15 per person – online

How can I buy the tickets online?

To purchase the tickets online, you can visit the website – globalvillage.ae – or download the smartphone app – ‘Global Village’ on the Playstore for Android devices and ‘Global Village Dubai’ on the Appstore for Apple devices.

How can I get to Global Village?

Global Village is easy to spot, located on the Mohamed Bin Zayed Road (E311) between the Arabian Ranches residential development and the IMG Worlds of Adventure theme park. The highway gives clear directions towards the parking lot for Global Village, regardless of the direction you are travelling on.

What are the timings every day?

Saturday - Wednesday: 4PM - 12AM

Thursday - Friday: 4PM - 1AM

Mondays (except those falling on a public holiday) are exclusively reserved for families and ladies.

What are the new attractions?

Several upgrades to improve visitor experience, with increased seating areas, more photo-friendly installations and bigger concert areas.

There will also be a new Iraq Pavilion, a Peter Rabbit Adventure Zone, a fire fountain show and a water stunt show. If you download the Global Village app, which was launched last year, you can even get a turn-by-turn navigation while on the premises and get updates on parking availability.
