Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee, along with the Department of Health (DOH) and Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre (ADPHC) has issued precautionary measures for social activities during Eid Al Adha.
Online greetings
Extend Eid greetings and wishes using online communication platforms. Also, avoid physical gatherings and opt for a virtual interaction with friends and family.
The guidelines clearly ask residents to avoid public and private gatherings.
Senior citizens, those who are sick or those who suffer from chronic conditions should limit outings where possible.

Avoid giving gifts, especially money, to children. Send money digitally to avoid bank visits, where possible.
Earlier this week, the National Crisis and Emergency Management Authority (NCEMA) also announced rules for Eid Al Adha, in which the authority warned residents to avoid all types of gatherings and sharking hands before and after Eid prayers, and limit greetings to those that are extended while maintaining a safe distance.
