Over 1,000 publishers from more than 50 countries are showcasing half a million books at the 29th edition of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair at Adnec from April 24-30.

Gulf News Photographers Atiq Ur Rehman and Virendra Saklani went along to sample the atmosphere ahead of headline sessions with some of the world’s best authors

Visitors are spoilt for choice as they peruse the shelves at the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (Adnec).

All audiences are catered to with India invited as a guest of honour and authors from the country seen engaging with Indian expatriates as well as Arabic and English readerships.
