With Silvia Venturini Fendi's Summer 2022 Men collection, Rome is also the main inspiration for Fendi Couture. After Dior Men x Travis Scott in Paris last June, Kim Jones continues his Fendi journey with a cinematographic haute couture collection, inspired by the Eternal City herself and the Italian writer Pier Paolo Pasolini and shot by Luca Guadagnino.

This couture collection is poetry between past and present. Haute couture takes a second youth with a social media-friendly design. We still want to see incredible dresses and clothes worn by iconic models who walk in a beautiful location. A perfect combination to share an haute couture digitally, that Kim Jones perfectly understood.

A casting with famous models from now like Adut Akech, Vittoria Ceretti, and Mica Arganaraz, walking fashion icons as Amber Valetta, Cristy Turlington, and especially Kate Moss - the designer dear friend - dressed in an organza silk coat reproducing a flower explosion. Her daughter, Lila Moss, starting her model career, was also part of the show.

A timeless and dreamy collection, composed of silhouettes appearing as living sculptures. The Baguette and the Peekaboo, iconic bags from the house, and pumps are decorated with mosaic effects, inspired by the old Rome public Forum and private villas.

Arches from Roman architecture shape the white leather boot heels. The jewellery, composed of necklaces, bracelets, and earrings, is inspired by the antique drapery and togas from the antique statues, the mosaic in the ancient Rome villas, and amphoras, made in white marble and pink onyx.

Kim Jones, as a long-time men designer, does not see haute couture only for women. Fendi Couture is also available for men, with complex techniques: a Persian lamb sweater, made 4,600 elements to design the knit mosaic pattern and next to 4,000 hours of manual work to create a silver shading to black embroidered suit.
