Whether you're living in Dubai or visiting, don’t miss the opportunity to witness Khamissa’s innovative take on this traditional Middle Eastern art form at the Dastaangoi Gallery in partnership with Bayt ALMamzar.

Curated by Amad Mian, this exhibition features a captivating collection of photographs and artworks that showcase Khamissa’s journey with henna. From her earliest works to her latest creations, Khamissa’s work will guarantee you are transported to a world where the past meets the present. “The piece that means the most to me will have to be one of my grandmother's hands as she has been with me since the beginning of my journey with henna.” Khamissa tells us.

Intergenerational connection is captured through this touching image of Khamissa's grandmother, Hajima, next to a photograph showcasing Khamissa's intricate henna designs on her grandmother's hands.
