Dior’s 30 Avenue Montaigne reopens
The address 30 Avenue Montaigne is of special significance to Dior. For starters, it is the place where Christian Dior showcased his first collection. The partnership, as we know has continued ever since, and the venue is home to all things Dior.
However, 30 Avenue Montaigne was closed for two years for a large-scale renovation led by architect Peter Marino. And now, the gorgeous property has once again opened its doors to the public.
Spread over 10,000 square meters, the upgraded mansion is an ode to the creativity of Dior, and features haute couture, fine jewellery, as well as other Dior-inspired experiences on the premises. In fact, the location houses several rare and unique products from the brand’s storied history. From vintage clothing to rare perfume bottles, you can find them all here.
30 Avenue Montaigne also has an art gallery that celebrates the work and creativity of the Dior brand, while gastronomy is not ignored either with several fine dining, Dior-inspired restaurants open for patrons.
Expectedly, the location has haute couture ateliers on site, along with the House’s first ever jewellery atelier. There is also a private suite dedicated to Dior, which brings the brands history and design ethos to life. And finally there are as many as three gardens for those who prefer to spend their time in the sun while discovering the world of Dior.
