AlUla on Wheels rolls to the grooves by Swizz Beatz

The first AlUla on Wheels weekend just ended and already the dates are set for more skating sessions on AlJadidah’s open-air skating rink on Wednesdays to Saturdays between November 3 and January 28, 2023.

The idea is to combine sights, sounds, and skating, and the immersive event was headlined by American rapper, producer and DJ Swizz Beatz who is releasing a new compilation album called “Moya’ produced with Goo Intentions, a Saudi-based creative consultancy founded by Beatz and Noor Taher.

Saudi artist Rex Chouk, the multimedia creator with a hidden identity known for wearing a mask at all times during his performances, also took the opportunity at AlUla on Wheels to unveil his first mural in AlUla. Titled "People Of Foreverland”, the mural “highlights the Saudi culture through Rex Chouk’s character”, and stands over the temporary skating rink.

The rules at AlUla on Wheels are simple: if you know how to skate, then hit the rink and roll to the beats, and if you don’t know how to skate, well, the event is for everyone including families and kids so there’s no better place to learn.
