Tag dazzles on the opening day of Watches & Wonders Geneva
The brand revealed several new products, several of them limited edition
The latest edition of Watches & Wonders Geneva is in full swing and the opening day saw Tag Heuer reveal as many as six new timepieces. Colour us excited!
The introductions included new movements such as Solargraph, Tag Heuer’s first solar movement which equips the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph.
Another first for the event was the unveiling of the next models in the collaboration between Tag Heuer and sportscar maker Porsche -- the Carrera X Porsche Limited Edition. This includes the exquisite Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Orange Diver, as well as the Monaco Gulf Special Edition.
The quality on display was immense. Take the Tag Heuer Carrera Plasma. It features lab-grown diamonds and is a milestone for the brand in its over 160-year history. The watch focuses on exquisite aesthetics, versatility and styling that make it a truly unique product.
The Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 1000 Superdiver, meanwhile, was the reimagining of the Aquaracer collection. It’s a watch that promises superb performance and claims to be “born for the deep”.
The new Tag Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph on the other hand is a timepiece that’s said to be crafted with adventure in mind. In fact, it is the first timepiece from the brand that employs the calibre TH50-00, which was developed and is manufactured exclusively for Tag Heuer.
Then, there is the Tag Heuer Carrera X Porsche Limited Edition. It was in February 2021 that Tag Heuer and Porsche forged a partnership and the second offering that has resulted from the collaboration is the new TAG Heuer Carrera X Porsche – not only is it sporty, it is also being proposed as a limited edition item. So, you’re not going to see many of these around.
Finally, there is the Tag Heuer Monaco Gulf Special Edition which pays tribute to the iconic Gulf livery. The new limited edition Tag Heuer Monaco sports the now instantly-recognisable colours and design of the Gulf brand. Powered by the in-house movement Heuer 02, this special edition timepiece is bound to make its way into pantheons of greatness.
