UAE President extends condolences over India train accident

Sheikh Mohamed says UAE's thoughts are with all those affected, wishes recovery of injured

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has extended his condolences for the train accident in India that occurred yesterday.

On his Twitter account, Sheikh Mohamed wrote: “I extend my heartfelt condolences to all those affected by the train accident in India. The thoughts of everyone in the UAE are with Prime Minister @narendramodi and the people of India at this time, and we pray for the swift recovery of those who were injured.”

Sheikh Mohamed also sent a message of condolence to Droupadi Murmu, President of India, over the victims of the train collision that occurred in the city of Balasore, wishing a speedy recovery to all the injured.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, and Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, also dispatched similar messages to President Murmu, and to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
