Malaysian, Bangladeshi and Indian win Dh100,000 each in 150th Mahzooz draw
Dubai: Three individuals from different corners of the world have emerged as the latest winners in the 150th edition of Mahzooz Saturday Millions. They are Muhammad from Malaysia, Bayejid from Bangladesh, and Shafeek from India.
Introduced to Mahzooz by a friend in August 2023, Muhammad decided to try his luck. The 28-year-old father of a one-year-old son is from Malaysia started actively participating in Mahzooz Saturday Millions. Unlike many, he didn’t watch the live show but discovered his incredible luck when he checked YouTube, Facebook and his Mahzooz account on Sunday morning. The shock of his winnings led him to wake up his wife to celebrate the fantastic news. He intends to utilise his winnings for house renovations, and to improve his family’s standard of living, while securing a brighter future for his baby.
Bayejid, a 34-year-old Bangladeshi currently residing in Saudi Arabia, found out about Mahzooz Saturday Millions through a news channel that reported on a previous winner who won Dh1 million. He saw his raffle ID featured during the live show, so he rushed to share the exciting news with one of his four brothers. Bayejid’s plans include using the funds to start a business back in Bangladesh.
Like Bayejid, the third winner, Shafeek, also lives in Saudi Arabia. He originally hails from India. Married with three sons who live back home, Shafeek has been working for 26 years and currently runs a seafood business. Shafeek’s journey to victory began with the spontaneous purchase of a single Mahzooz water bottle just before the cut-off time on Saturday evening.
The lucky winner had no idea of his newfound fortune until he received a call and an email from Mahzooz. His emotional rollercoaster took him from shock to disbelief as he sat down to check his winning balance. Heavy rains in Kerala disrupted his phone connection, preventing him from sharing the happy news with his family, but he eagerly awaited the chance to break the news to his wife and sons.
