Sweden’s Johanna Gustavsson carded a third-round, four-under 66 at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting & Golf Club to take a three-shot lead into the final round of the eighth AESGC International Pro-Am.

Four birdies and an eagle helped her on the way to her five-under par total for the tournament:

“There was less wind today so it was a little easier,” said the Ladies European Tour Member. “I made a few silly mistakes but I came back with a few birdies on the back nine. I made a bogey just before on hole six, so it was nice to get it back with an eagle on seven.

“Obviously in the team event as well we are up there so we want to do good so I’ll just try to make as many birdies as I can! We have been coming for a few years now and my teammates love coming here, especially as it is so cold back home.”

Second-round leader Chris Gane posted an even-par 70 to remain at two-under for the event in second place.
