With Dubai returning to normality, a key focus will be on leveraging the strategic, legislative and regulatory enablers that are being constantly rolled out bringing Dubai closer to its goal of becoming the most sought-after destination to visit and the best city in the world to live and work in. Over the years Al Quoz Creative Zone has become the most sought after destination for creative talents from around the world and its master plan is expected to provide facilities that will house 6,800 creatives by 2026. And that meeting will serve up another 0.50 per cent hike in base rate, which will set of a cascading effect on lending and mortgage rates in other markets. Will these be enough to take on the inflation monster? That’s for the future to let us know; for now, it will be the currency markets – and exchange rates – that most of us will have our eyes on. The former Tottenham boss failed to lead the team past the last 16 of the Champions League and will not serve the final year of his contract. Rumours that Zinedine Zidane is set to take over are growing by the day while Jose Mourinho has also been linked with the club. Argentine Pochettino claimed the first trophies of his managerial career with PSG - the 2021 Coupe de France and 2022 Ligue 1 title – but the Champions League is what the club craved most.
