US stocks edge to records again after solid economic data

Positive momentum continues following US-China trade agreement

New York: Wall Street stocks edged to records again on Tuesday following good economic data that added to positive momentum following a US-China trade agreement.

At the closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was at 28,263.63, up 0.1 per cent for its second straight record.

The broad-based S&P 500 was up a hair at 3,192.15, while the tech-rich Nasdaq Composite Index advanced 0.1 per cent to 8,823.36.

Both the S&P 500 and Nasdaq were at records for the fourth straight session.
