Etisalat to lift restrictions on voting rights of foreigners
Board authorised management to take necessary steps to incorporate articles of association
Dubai: Etisalat said on Sunday that its board has approved to lift the restrictions on voting rights of foreign shareholders on par with UAE nationals.
The board authorised the management to take necessary steps to incorporate articles of association and obtain all required approvals from the competent authorities before and after the general assembly to effect these changes, the company said in a statement posted on Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.
Etisalat shares were up 0.1 per cent at Dh16.64.
