Dubai: The Dubai Financial Market general index tumbled more than 3.5 per cent, the biggest daily fall in 2019, amid growing geo-political concerns.
The Dubai index was trading at the day’s low of 2,532.79, down 3.66 per cent. Many shares such as Damac Properties, Shuaa Capital hit its lower limit. Emaar Properties, the bellwether, tumbled 6.11 per cent to trade at Dh4.15.
The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange general index was down 2.88 per cent at 4,951.41.
