Dubai: Abu Dhabi Customs has issued a new ecommerce policy to better regulate the movement of personal goods via e-commerce channels. The policy applies to goods imported or exported by firms for online trading, including for exports outside the UAE.

It will come into effect on August 15. Companies must also register for ecommerce related transactions with Abu Dhabi Customs.
