Indian Consulate in Dubai relocates attestation services office to larger facility
The Consulate General of India in Dubai has announced the relocation of its outsourced attestation services office, operated by SGIVS Global LLC, to a new and larger facility. Effective Monday, October 7, 2024, at 8:30 AM, all attestation services will be provided at the newly located Office No. 302 and 104, Al Nasr Central, Oud Metha, Dubai.
This move marks a significant upgrade, as the new premises offer an expanded space of 6,400 square feet, compared to the previous office size of 4,000 square feet. The expansion includes a large premium lounge and a spacious general waiting area, ensuring greater comfort for applicants and enhancing the overall experience.
According to Consul General of India, Satish Kumar Sivan, the decision to relocate the office was driven by the growing demand for attestation services among both Indian and foreign nationals residing in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.
“We are committed to providing a streamlined and efficient service to all applicants, and this move reflects our continuous efforts to improve our offerings. Our new location will enable us to better serve the needs of the Indian community and all those who require attestation services in Dubai. We remain dedicated to enhancing the customer experience through our state-of-the-art facilities and technology-driven processes,” said Satyajitsinh Duleepsinh Gaekwad, Managing Director of SGIVS Global.
The categories of attestation services offered at the center include death certificates, power of attorney, sworn affidavits, passport copies, medical certificates, company documents, and more. The consulate currently processes around 250 attestation requests daily, with the capacity to handle up to 750 on busy days, ensuring a maximum processing time of 20 minutes.
In addition to the new office in Oud Metha, SGIVS Global continues to operate its office in Abu Dhabi at Office No. 701, Abu Dhabi University Building, Shaikh Al Nahyan Camp Area, ensuring comprehensive coverage across all emirates.
For applicants relying on public transportation, the new location remains easily accessible, situated close to the Oud Metha Metro Station and Oud Metha Central Bus Station, making the transition convenient for those using the Dubai Metro. Applicants are encouraged to plan accordingly as the center will be closed for relocation on Saturday, October 5.
