Football Manager 25 set for global launch on November 26
Get ready to fall even deeper in love with the beautiful game as Football Manager 25 (FM25) launches globally on November 26. Following a record-breaking year for FM24, which saw over 14 million players across platforms, the latest release in Sports Interactive's and SEGA’s iconic franchise puts players at the heart of an immersive football universe where they can shape their own destiny.
For the first time ever, FM25 will feature Arabic language support, making it more accessible to fans in the MENA region.
Powered by the switch to the Unity engine, FM25 marks the most significant technical and visual advancement for the series in a generation. The game’s UI has been completely revamped based on insights into how different people play, resulting in a more intuitive and smarter navigation system that maintains the depth and detail fans love.
Enhanced graphical fidelity and new volumetric player animations, captured from real football matches, bring players closer to the action on Matchdays. Women’s Football makes its long-awaited debut in FM25, seamlessly joining the men’s game in a unified world and ecosystem. Players can now explore new horizons or deepen their involvement in the sport thanks to Sports Interactive’s new multi-year partnership with the Premier League. Additional information about featured leagues, licenses, and languages will be revealed ahead of the game’s release.
Miles Jacobson, Studio Director at Sports Interactive, expressed excitement about the new chapter for the series: “It’s an honor to confirm the forthcoming release of Football Manager 25. As I’ve mentioned in interviews and development updates, the FM25 cycle has been challenging for the entire SI team. This release is just the starting point for the studio’s next 20 or 30 years. It’s also the moment where the world gets to see two of our multi-year projects come to fruition: the switch to the Unity engine and the introduction of Women’s Football. It’s incredibly rewarding to begin sharing the results of our hard work, and we look forward to showcasing more of the game in the coming weeks.”
The studio has shared a gameplay focus roadmap to highlight what’s new in this year’s release. Keep an eye on their social channels for further updates. Alongside the PC and Mac versions, Football Manager 25 Console for Xbox and PlayStation 5 is also set to launch on November 26. Both FM25 Console (Xbox) and FM25 (PC/Mac) will be available through Xbox Game Pass.
Additionally, Football Manager 25 Touch will be released on the Nintendo Switch on December 3. Further details on the release of FM25 Touch will be announced in the coming weeks. Retaining a classic feel with several new additions, Football Manager 25 Mobile will launch as a Netflix exclusive on November 26. Players on mobile will benefit from the inclusion of Women’s Football and the new Premier League license, as well as the ability to carry over save files from FM24 Mobile, though FM25 Mobile will not make the switch to Unity.
