EXEED's super intelligent factory officially put into production

With the launch of a new factory, EXEED opens a new chapter of intelligent manufacturing

On December 27, 2022, the EXEED strategic model became available for global blind booking. This is the first model to be put into production by the new super intelligent factory. The production of the super intelligent factory marks the beginning of a new chapter for EXEED Brand 2.0, which aims to accelerate digital transformation and promote the brand's high-end and environmentally-friendly image.

EXEED’s super intelligent factory is a newly designed and built production base that adheres to international-level intelligent factory and pacesetting beacon factory standards. It embodies advanced concepts of digital intelligence, green environmental protection, and high efficiency. As a pioneer in the automotive production industry, the factory was the first to apply the C2M-based OTD process, which prioritizes the customer experience. It has also introduced the HiGOPlat industrial Internet platform to establish a new production model of mass and individual customization. In addition, the factory has adopted a production quality management system comparable to that of luxury brands, making it a model factory for Industry 4.0 that rivals any leading intelligent manufacturing level in the world.

EXEED’s super intelligent factory covers four major processes, including stamping, welding, painting, and general assembly, within facilities including an R&D center, inspection, and testing ground. The construction area is approximately 260,000 square meters and will be used for the production and R&D of vehicles and components of the EXEED M3X series platform. The factory can achieve mixed production of various conventional power and NEVs simultaneously, and has the capacity to roll out a new vehicle from the production line every 1.5 minutes on average.

The stamping workshop in EXEED's super intelligent factory boasts the world's fastest deeply interactive customization. It is equipped with a 6600T fully automatic high-speed synchronous production line and a digital management platform with an automation rate of 100%. The welding workshop has the most powerful AI quality control system in the world, with 350 AI robots in the production line that achieve intelligent linkage and high-density flexible general assembly, with the ability to quickly switch to produce different models. The painting workshop features world-leading "zero-carbon" intelligent manufacturing technology, which utilizes the ultimate in energy-saving and environmentally friendly methods. The process is fully automated for key processes and includes an energy-saving and environment-friendly compact water-based paint process that comprehensively reduces gas demand by 22%. Lastly, the general assembly workshop boasts globally leading intelligent high-precision technology, with short processes, modularity, and intelligence, among its advantages. The accuracy of the online appearance gap and flush measurement robot is as high as 0.02mm.

In addition to its impressive technological capabilities, the factory also uses green technology to reduce the carbon footprint of its entire life cycle to align with its “carbon peak and neutrality” strategy. The factory incorporates reclaimed and rainwater reuse technology to achieve full recycling of water resources, saving 180,000 tons of water annually. Its adoption of high-density photovoltaic panels generates an average of 14,000,000 kWh of power per year and reduces carbon emissions by 110,000 tons. The factory also uses energy storage to form a smart micro-grid, combining a mode of self-use first, with the rest of the energy generation sent to the grid. Additionally, the factory employs a world-leading painting process and fully applies waste heat utilization and condensate recovery technology, which can reduce gas usage by 852,000 cubic meters annually, meeting even the most strict of environmental standards in Europe.

EXEED's super intelligent factory is not only at the forefront of high intelligence, quality, efficiency, energy conservation, and environmental protection, but also integrates the HiGOPlat industrial Internet platform, jointly developed by EXEED and COSMO Plat, to establish a new production model for mass individual customization. This is a successful example of EXEED’s exploration of the industrial Internet to empower the construction of intelligent factories.

Incorporating top global suppliers such as Benteler, BorgWarner, and BOSCH, the M3X platform features high-performance architecture with advantages including five-star safety and advanced intelligence. The EXEED products built on the M3X platform have achieved high scores on the C-NCAP Five-Star Safety Standard, while the integration of ADAS intelligent technology emphasizes the users’ driving experience, introducing a new way of thinking for the development of the automobile industry and offering a high-end product that meets the needs of consumers.
