Dubai: Blooms Group, a leading mobile technology company headquartered in Dubai, UAE, unveiled a sustainability initiative, aimed at achieving a 50% reduction in carbon emissions over the next five years, the company said in a media release.

At a press conference held at the company's headquarters, Mohamed Fawzi Moustafa Abdalla, Blooms Group's Founder and CEO, outlined the company's plan to transform mobile technology through the integration of renewable energy sources. This initiative involves the installation of solar panels across all Blooms Group production facilities, coupled with a strategic shift towards utilizing green energy for their entire operational network.

"Our dedication to sustainability transcends mere corporate responsibility," said Fawzi. "We view it as a fundamental moral obligation. We are resolute in leading the mobile technology industry towards a greener future by seamlessly integrating sustainable practices into every facet of our operations," he added.

Blooms Group's initiative has the potential to trigger a ripple effect throughout the mobile technology industry, the company said. The substantial investment in solar energy signifies a significant shift away from traditional energy sources with higher carbon footprints. According to them, this move not only reduces Blooms Group's environmental impact but also sets a precedent for other mobile technology companies. Industry experts believe this move could potentially spark a wave of similar sustainability initiatives within the sector.
