The Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Al-Futtaim Lexus for the maintenance of DGW’s Lexus vehicles. As per the MoU, Al-Futtaim Lexus will maintain DGW-owned Lexus vehicles at the latter’s headquarters every 10,000 kilometers or six months as per the Lexus maintenance service standards. Additionally, DGW will obtain spare parts from Lexus dealerships in the UAE only, whether the spare parts will be used for the vehicles serviced at Al-Futtaim Lexus Service Center or at DGW facility.

H.E. Fahad Ahmed Al Raeesi, Deputy CEO of Dubai Government Workshop, said: “The MoU with Al-Futtaim Lexus is an integral part of our continued collaboration that has touched on various aspects of our core operations. Our partnership has allowed us to exchange expertise and technical capabilities, provide the latest innovations and emerging technologies in the automotive world, and develop services in line with current and future requirements of our respective customers."

Mohammed Maktari, Managing Director, Al-Futtaim Lexus, said: “We appreciate the confidence that DGW places in our Lexus vehicles. This continued agreement with DGW reinforces our long-term partnership and represents an important step towards an enhanced and dedicated service experience, through our qualified team of Lexus technicians. We are confident in extending to our partners world-class maintenance and repair services, in line with Lexus’ standards.”

Al Raeesi concluded: “We remain keen on strengthening our cooperation with various entities in the UAE’s automotive sector such as Al-Futtaim Lexus as part of our ongoing bid to deliver excellent and leading services to our customers according to the highest global standards and best international practices. This commitment is aligned with the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.”
