The company estimates ‘Call UAE’ will earn an estimated Dh25 million in revenue in the next year from advertisements placed within the application. Advertising rates for the application run up to Dh25,000 for a one-year banner ad. The apps contains more than 400,000 listings in the UAE in more than 5,000 categories, the company said.
JCIS previously launched an offline business directory application Call Kerala in India in 2012. OMBD announced further plans of expansion in the GCC region, with a similar ‘Call Doha’ application expected to launch in Qatar in 6 months.
The application was developed in collaboration with India-based Just Call Infoservices (JCIS).
