How does BCC work?
Bitcoin Cash (BCC) is a new cryptocurrency, almost identical to Bitcoin, started by a group who weren’t satisfied with the original currency.
Where does it get its value?
In part from its facilitation of goods and services, which gives anything value, and in part due to its network effect (networked products and services tend to have more value when more people use them.)
Can I own BCC and BTC at the same time?
Yes, if you own bitcoin (BTC) you will automatically own the same amount in BCC when the network is cloned on Tuesday.
Can anybody launch a cryptocurrency?
Yes, anybody with a deep enough understanding of computer science and mathematics can. But that doesn’t mean anyone will use it.
