Cairo - The Cairo Criminal Court ordered free on bail two sons of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak and others accused in a stock market manipulation case, a court official said.

Alaa and Jamal Mubarak, as well as officials including the non-executive vice chairman of EFG-Hermes Yasser El Mallawany and head of investor relations at Qalaa Holdings Amr Al Kadi, were detained at the weekend in the case which dates back to 2012.

The arrests sparked a sell-off in the Cairo stock exchange.
