Dubai: Riyadh Travel Fair 2020 has been postponed for a second time this year due to the pandemic.

The decision was made in the interest of public health and safety by officials at ASAS Exhibitions and Conference Organizing Company, responsible for organizing the annual travel fair. It was initially scheduled to be held in March, but then postponed to September 2020.

Now, it is planning to return for March 15 to 18, 2021. Bandar Al Quraini, General Manager of ASAS, said, "Our concern for public health and safety during this pandemic necessitated its second time postponement.”

The fair is the largest travel and tourism exhibition and congress in the Kingdom. Al-Quraini added, "We look forward to welcoming back all our travel industry partners and public then, once the health and safety of visitors can be fully assured and as always in accordance with Saudi government regulations and advisories.”
