Active cases are now 2,872, including 418 critical

Dubai: Qatar on Thursday detected 244 new coronavirus cases, taking the total number of people infected with COVID-19 to 122,485.

No new fatalities have been reported during the past 24 hours, keeping the country’s death tally at 208, according to the latest coronavirus update by the Ministry of Public Health.

The country’s total recovered cases reached 119,613 as 213 COVID-19 infected patients fully recovered. There are 2,872 active cases, including 418 critical and 58 serious cases under intensive care.

The latest cases were detected after the ministry conducted 4,150 PCR tests during the last 24 hours, pushing the total number of people tested across the country to 709,613.
