Dubai: Kuwait today reported 813 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 118,531, the Ministry of Health said.

Seven people have succumbed to the infection following complications caused by the virus, bringing the total number of fatalities to 721.

According to the ministry’s latest update, an additional 718 patients have made full recovery, pushing total recovered cases to 109, 916, leaving 7,894 active cases, including 133 that are critical receiving treatment in ICUs.

Oman

The Ministry of Health registered 451 new coronavirus cases, 15 deaths and 418 fresh recoveries in Oman over the past 24 hours.

The total cases in the country have now touched 111,484 including 87,367 recoveries and 1,137 deaths.

The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing protocols and precautionary measures issued by the Supreme Committee tasked with tackling COVID-19 for everyone’s safety.

Saudi Arabia

The daily tally of COVID-19 infections slightly increased in the Kingdom, with 405 new cases reported on Wednesday, compared to 385 reported on Tuesday. Total coronavirus cases have now hit 343,373.

The Ministry of Health announced 18 deaths, bringing fatality tally to 5,235, while a further 445 patients have fully recovered, pushing overall recoveries across the Kingdom to 329,715.

Active cases are now 8,423, including 804 that are critical receiving intensive care.

Bahrain

Bahrain confirmed the detection of 309 new infections over the last 24 hours, raising the total coronavirus cases to 78,533.

The Ministry of Health announced that five people died from the virus, raising fatality tally to 307.

The ministry confirmed additional 406 recoveries, increasing overall recoveries to 75,089. Meanwhile, 10,360 PCR tests have been conducted across the county during the past 24 hours.

Qatar

The Ministry of Public Health confirmed the detection of 266 new cases of coronavirus in Qatar during the past 24 hours, taking tally of infections to 129,944. One people has died of complications caused by the virus, bringing death toll to 225.

The ministry also announced that 227 patients have fully recoveries, pushing total recoveries to 127,093.

Active cases have declined to 2,892, out of which 373 are critical under intensive care.
