Cairo: Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa has issued a series of decrees introducing structural changes in government institutions.

The royal decrees include restructuring the ministries of interior and foreign affairs, Bahrain’s news agency BNA reported.

The monarch also issued a decree relieving all advisors to the prime minister of their posts, it added.

Another decree appointed a director-general of the prime minister’s office and a secretary-general of the council of ministers, the agency added.

The government, meanwhile, agreed to amend the regulation structures of a number of ministries and institutions revoking some positions and directorates as well as changing affiliations of some others, Bahraini media said.
