Bahrain reports 129 new coronavirus cases

Bahrain’s COVID-19 active cases jump to 1,608 after reporting 129 new cases

Dubai: Bahrain has confirmed a further 129 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of active cases in the country to 1,608, of which one is critical, the Kingdom's Ministry of Health tweeted today (Friday).

The latest infections include 104 cases of expatriate workers, while 25 cases are for those who had been in contact with previously diagnosed patients.

No fatalities have been reported recently.

The ministry said another 53 COVID-19 patients have made full recovery, taking the total number of patients recovered to 1,553.
