Bahrain registers 151 new COVID-19 cases

147 more recoveries raise total to 3,715

Cairo: Bahrain Thursday recorded 151 new cases of the novel coronavirus, raising its total to 8,039.

The 151 cases include 96 expatriate workers, 48 infected as a result of coming in contact with active cases and seven others linked to travel, the Health Ministry said on its Twitter account.

Twenty-seven patients of COVID-19 are currently receiving treatment, including nine in critical condition, the ministry added.

It reported no new deaths, keeping the country's COVID-19 fatalities at 12.

The ministry, meanwhile, said 147 more patients have recovered from COVID-19, bringing the country's overall recoveries to 3,715.
