He was returning home when he was gunned down by two assailants on a bike
Karachi: Ali Raza Abidi, a former Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) lawmaker, was shot dead here on Tuesday, police said.
SSP South Pir Mohammad Shah was reported by GeoTv as saying the shooting occurred outside Abidi’s home in in the Khayaban-e-Ghazi neighbourhood of Defense Housing Authority (DHA).
The shooters have not been identified, but witnesses recalling seeing two people on a motorbike gunning down the former member of the National Assembly as he exited his car.
He was transported to PNS Shifa Hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.
