Los Angeles: All children aged 12 and over who attend public schools in Los Angeles will need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 by the end of the year, the city’s board of education ruled Thursday.

The vote by the Los Angeles Unified School District is the first by a major school board in the United States, and could set a precedent for other local authorities.
