Al Ain: Al Ain City Municipality, affiliated to the Department of Municipalities and Transport - Abu Dhabi, has completed work on Manazef Park, the first sandy garden inspired by the local environment.

Abu Dhabi Media Office tweeted on Monday that the park spans an area of more than 22,000 square metres and contains 208 perennial Ghaf trees, in addition to various service and recreational facilities.

The Ghaf is the national tree of the UAE as it is a historic and cultural symbol of stability and peace in the UAE’s desert environment. It is a drought-tolerant tree, which can remain green even in the harshest desert climes is essential for the survival of animal and plant species alike.
