Tourist hurt after parachute fall in the UAE

Sharjah: A South African tourist was seriously injured in a parachuting accident in Al Faya area in Sharjah on Friday, according to Sharjah Police.
Police received a call on Friday evening with reports about the incident, following which the Ministry of Interior’s Air Wing, with ambulance crews, rushed to the site and airlifted the man to the hospital.
The 54-year old man, identified J.N., is a Dubai resident.
He suffered multiple injuries and fractures.
