Dubai: Viewing the Burj Khalifa fireworks from a vantage point at the Burj Park will be a ticketed experience again this New Year’s Eve.

Announcing paid tickets to the world’s most watched show today, Emaar said it is organising a special celebration at Burj Park, where ticketed viewers can enjoy front-row views of the Burj Khalifa fireworks and the synchronised Dubai Fountain show.

This follows the success of last year’s exclusive New Year’s Eve experience, it noted.

By opting for the ticketing setting to view the fireworks, tourists and residents alike can avail a hassle-free experience, away from the New Year’s Eve crowds converging elsewhere for the show.

While the ticketed experience is limited to Burj Park, the rest of the public viewing areas in Downtown Dubai will remain free and open to the public, Emaar said.

Tickets will go on sale starting October 24, and can be booked online.

The tickets are priced at Dh580 for adults and Dh370 for children above the age of five (inclusive of VAT) this year. The tickets cost Dh300 for adults and Dh150 for children aged five-plus last year.

Each ticket includes a food and beverage voucher worth Dh60 for adults and Dh30 for children.

Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Expect picnic tables, drum tables and bean bags.

"This year’s event will include live entertainment, kids’ workshops and a curated selection of food and beverage options," Emaar said.

"The live entertainment will begin at 3.300pm on December 31 and will include DJ performances, live bands, and children’s activities," it added.

Emaar has organised designated badge collection points.

Attendees can collect their badges from December 26 to 30 for a smooth entry to Burj Park.

Colour-coded navigation flags will assist guests in finding their way to the venue, Emaar added.
